Day 01:


Arrival to the airport, reception and transfer to the selected Hotel. In the afternoon, private city tour.
CITY TOUR. We will discover the magic of Buenos Aires in a 3 hours and a half city tour in which you will visit the outstanding building of the National Congress, the ancient Council, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Capitol (better known as "Pink House"). The buildings that surround the "Mayo Square" consist of the above mentioned spots. The tour also includes the magnificent areas of Recoleta and Palermo, with their beautiful parks and buildings, the Colon Theatre, one of the five most important Opera theatres of the world and many other buildings and palaces of architectural, historical and cultural value. We will visit San Telmo area, one of the most antique districts of the city, as well as La Boca district, with its "caminito" - a picturesque pedestrian street-, where you will find its colourful metal sheet tenements. Finally, the tour will lead us to the recently recycled district of Puerto Madero, old area of the Buenos Aires port. The tour also will include the visit to the Ateneo Grand Splendid bookstore, awarded by The Guardian newspaper as the second of the ten most beautiful bookstores of the world. Over there, in its building inaugurated in 1919 and below its dome, among balconies and intact ornamentation, the coffee and reading areas are found.

Day 02:

BUENOS AIRES / USHUAIA.Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport Flight to Ushuaia. Arrival, reception and transfer to the selected Hotel. Half day excursion to the National Park “Tierra del Fuego”. Alter the excursion, we will board the “Mare Australis Cruise”.
NACIONAL PARK TIERRA DEL FUEGO. Inside this National Park, next to the city of Ushuaia (just 6,87 miles away), we will be able to watch lakes, small lakes and rivers. Here guanacos, red foxes, beavers and condors live together among forests of cherry trees, lenga trees and Antarctic Beeches (in Spanish ñires). It is the only national park of the country that has a marine coast. During the tour we go deep into the rugged topography and along the crossing mountain roads towards the “Lapataia” River, where we have an excellent view of the Green Small Lake and the Lapataia Bay. Over there we will have a clear idea of the original inhabitants (Onas or Yamanas), since the place keeps several archaeological zones. During the tour, we will visit the Train Station of the Southern Fuegian Railway – Station of the end of the World. MARE AUSTRALIS (Itinerary). Check in between 09:00 and 16:00 hours in 245 San Martín St, Ushuaia. Cruise ship boarding from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Captain and crew give a welcome cocktail reception on board. Immediately afterward, the ship departs for “the uttermost part of the earth.” Our excursion will take us through Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan to explore one of the most captivating wilderness regions in the world: Southern Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego. We have just embarked on a Great Adventure!

Day 03:

MARE AUSTRALIS. We will sail through Beagle and Murray channels to reach and disembark in Cape Horn National Park (weather permitting). Cape Horn, on Hornos Island, is a sheer, 425-meter (1,394-foot) high rocky promontory. This mythical place is known as the “End of the Earth”; a visit is a singular privilege. The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in June 2005. In the afternoon, we go ashore in historic Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region’s largest aboriginal settlements. This area is also renowned for the mesmerizing beauty of its vegetation and geography. We walk through a Magellanic forest of Lengas, Coigües, Canelos, ferns and other native vegetation to reach a lookout point.

Day 04:

MARE AUSTRALIS. In the afternoon, we view awe-inspiring Gunther Plüschow Glacier, named after the region’s pioneering German aviator. Then we sail to Chico Sound, where we disembark in Zodiacs to observe majestic Piloto and Nena glaciers.

Day 05:

MARE AUSTRALIS / PUNTA ARENAS. Early in the morning, we go ashore on Magdalena Island, the home of an immense colony of more than 120,000 Magellanic Penguins that we can watch during our walk to a lighthouse, which guides ships on their way through the Strait of Magellan. The island’s penguins migrate in April; as a replacement we visit Marta Island, to observe a sea lion colony. After our visit, we sail to Punta Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 a.m. Transfer from the port to the bus station. Trip to Puerto Natales. Arrival, reception in the bus station and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 06:

PUERTO NATALES / TORRES DEL PAINE. Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to “Torres del Paine” with box lunch included. Accommodation in a selected hotel inside the National Park. TORRES DEL PAINE. Visiting the Patagonia without going to Torres del Paine National Park is almost a sin. This tour departs at 8 AM from your lodging place in Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. The first stop will be the millenary Milodon Cave, a huge natural ground accident with an incalculable anthropological value, which is believed to have been inhabited by the primitive Patagonian man, and the Milodon, an extinct herbivorous animal. Once 30 minutes have elapsed and 36 km have been traveled, the second stop will be made is Cerro Castillo, where passengers will be able to enjoy cafeteria services. A perfect preamble to later arrive to Torres del Paine National Park through the Amarga Lagoon area, a stunning scenery where you can enjoy watching red foxes and condors which usually are part of the beautiful panoramic views of the Paine mountain range. Following the route, you can see the Nordenskjold and Pehoé lakes, together with groups of guanacos and lesser rheas or ñandúes. The journey continues with a 10 minutes hike, where it is possible to discover the astonishing Salto Grande (Large waterfall) to continue through the front of the imposing horns towards the Grey lake area. A stop will be made at the Grey inn to have lunch. During the afternoon, the tour continues towards the glacier area, where an approximate one-and-a-half-hour stop will be made, as well as a beautiful hike among forests of lengas and breathtaking ice floes of the Grey glacier.

Day 07:

TORRES DEL PAINE / CALAFATE. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Castillo´s hill, border place between Chile and Argentina, where a bus will take you to Calafate. Reception at the bus station of Calafate, and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 08:

EL CALAFATE. Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to the “Perito Moreno Glacier” and the sailing “Safari Nautico”.
PERITO MORENO GLACIER. Leaving Calafate we must cover 50 miles to reach the National Park (declared by UNESCO as Humanity Patrimony). Once inside the park we will be able to observe the arboreal vegetation of the Patagonia Andean forest, which is mainly from the “notofagus” family. Further on, we will have access to the footbridges of the glacier, with fantastic panoramic viewpoints. In this area there exists a big quantity of glaciers, and the most famous is the Perito Moreno: it has a frontage of 3.12 miles and is 60 metres high above the level of the Argentine Lake, and a total surface that exceeds the one from several big cities of the world. It is one of the few glaciers that is still in full advance. During any season of the year the visitor can enjoy its constant collapses of ice towers that break into multiple ice floes. In variable periods of time, one unique phenomenon that calls experts and tourists around the world is performed: the breakage of the natural dry dock that the glacier produces while advancing over the river. This phenomenon is a spectacle of wonderful and incomparable characteristics. The park also offers alternative and optional tours, such as tours to the lakes or mini-trekking along the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Day 09:

CALAFATE / BUENOS AIRES. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival, reception at the airport, and transfer to the selected Hotel.

Day 10:

BUENOS AIRES / PUERTO IGUAZÚ. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Iguazú. Arrival, reception at the airport, and transfer to the selected Hotel. In the afternoon, half day excursion to the Brazilian Falls.
BRASILIAN FALLS. Visit to the National Park Iguazú, in Brazil: It is a giant balcony from where the waterfalls in all their extent can be viewed, having also the choice of observing them from more distant and wider angles. The area to be covered is made of an only circuit of footbridges that is located in front of the falls, and offers a panoramic view which is really astonishing. The tour offers a wide route from which all the splendor of the landscape falls and waterfalls can be observed.

Day 11:

PUERTO IGUAZÚ / BUENOS AIRES. Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the Argentinean Falls. After the excursion, transfer to the airport. Flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and reception at the airport and transfer to the selected Hotel. ARGENTINEAN FALLS. Full day tour to the National Park of Iguazú, where the visitor will find more than 270 water falls along the cliffs and islets, split into a half moon that is the shape of this beautiful geographical feature. From the visitors’ centre, the paths can be covered on foot or a picturesque little train can be chosen for that purpose. The National Park has two circuits to be covered: one at a lower surface and the other at the upper one. In the lower circuit, one can reach the base of the falls, where the magnificence of their beauty can be appreciated. It is worth it to travel by boat towards the San Martin Island. In the upper circuit, the tour is a bit more sedentary where unique landscapes can be viewed from footbridges and viewpoints, which makes the tour an unforgettable experience.

Day 12:

BUENOS AIRES. Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. At night Dinner and Tango Show with private transfer to keep it as a special memory.

Day 13:

BUENOS AIRES. Breakfast at the hotel. At the time coordinated with the tour guide, transfer to the international airport to take the fight back.
