Considered the biggest wetlands of the world, this remote region is an indomitable alluvial plain, which in the past was an original interior sea, 65 Million years ago. The Pantanal extends on both banks of the Paraguay River as soft and suspicious marshlands. 

This is the region where jaguars, giant river otters, anacondas, caimans, iguanas, capybaras, howler monkeys and the largest number of blue parrots in the entire planet dwell. It is a photographer’s Mecca and paradise, and during this journey they will be able to take some wonderful animal pictures.

Overview

Day 1: ASUNCION - CONCEPCION.
Day 2: CONCEPCION - PANTANAL. Accommodation at Posada Laguna Yacaré, full board included. Be ready for four days of a wonderful adventure!!!
Day 3 4: PANTANAL.
Day 4: BUENOS AIRES - IGUAZĂš. Brazilian side of the falls
Day 5: PANTANAL - PARAGUAYAN FARM. Transfer by boat to Puerto Mourtiñoand continuing by private 4X4 getting more and more deep into the Paraguayan rural areas.
Day 6: MBRACAYU RESERVE. Enjoy this unique and amazing environment of the virgin jungle.
Day 7: MBRACAYU RESERVE – ASUNCION (300 Km).Transfer from the hotel to Asunción or continuing traveling to Iguazu Falls.

Day 7: MBARACAYU TO IGUAZU FALLS (370 km)
Day 8: PUERTO IGUAZU. Admire the Iguazu Falls from both the Argentinean side.

DAY 10: Transfer to the domestic airport in Argentina or Brazil

From Puerto IguazĂş we can overland to Asuncion the capital City of Paraguay or take the flight back home in connection in Buenos Aires or Rio de Janeiro.

Itineraty Details

Day 1: BUENOS AIRES

Arrive to Buenos Aires.
Buenos Aires, cosmopolitan and elegant capital of Argentina, with a population of 12 million inhabitants, it is usually referred to as the Paris of South America.
Transfer to the hotel and sightseeing tour.
Overnight at the selected hotel.

Day 2: BUENOS AIRES

Day at leisure.

Optional suggested: half day Tigre & Paraná delta.
In the evening, dinner and Tango Show at one of the leading Tango salons in the city.
Overnight.

Day 3: BUENOS AIRES

Day at leisure.

Optional suggested: Full day Gaucho Party tour at the country side.
Overnight.

Day 4: BUENOS AIRES - IGUAZĂš

Transfer to local airport to board the flight to IguazĂş. Arrival, reception and immediate visit of the Falls National Park in the Brazilian side, the tour ends at the selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.Overnight.

Day 5: IGUAZĂš

Full day excursion to the Argentinian side of the falls. The visitors can go through sidewalks (either walking or in a small train) where the falls can be appreciated from different perspectives. There is a down circuit, where the power of water sprays the visitors giving them a unique experience of adventure. You can also see the falls from an upper circuit, with panoramic views and viewpoints. All of which turn the stay into an unforgettable experience.

Day 6 IGUAZĂš - LIMA

Morning at leisure for last minute activities or relax by the pool. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Lima. Arrive in Lima and transfer to selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight.

Day 7: LIMA - CUSCO

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival transfer to selected hotel.Rest of the morning at leisure.Afternoon city tour.
Overnight.

Day 8: CUSCO – URUBAMBA – CUSCO

Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of Urubamba to visit the village of Pisac and its colorful market where artisans from the area congregate to sell their crafts.
Continue to Ollantaytambo, fortress built during the Inca Empire; visit the ruins. Overnight.

Day 9: CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Early transfer to the station on time to catch the train to Machu Picchu, citadel hidden in the exuberant vegetation of the jungle from the Spanish expansion and discovered only in 1911 by the American Hiram Bingham. After 3 hours train ride arrive to Aguas Calientes sand bus transportation to the entrance of the ruins where the guided tour of the Lost City will start. Buffet lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Cusco. Overnight.

Day 10: CUSCO – LIMA

Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to selected hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

Day 11: LIMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or continue with extensions in Peru.

Normally the activities are carried out during the coolest moments of the day: before dawn, early in the morning, at the end of the afternoon, at dusk and at night moments, usually when the animals show more actives. The guide is a great expert of the ecosystem and offers amazing information about wildlife, ensuring that everyone can see and understand wildlife. A typical day at Posada Laguna Yacaré, begins with an impressive sunrise followed by a full breakfast, a few hours enjoying the nature with the magical aromas of the flowers of the trees, then return to the Posada for lunch. Time for rest and then again get in the trails walking or 4x4, or sail the river until another amazing sunset will leave you speechless.
