Itineraty Details

Amazing travel from Argentina to Chile across the mountain range, trough lakes and the “Valdiviana jungle” into the heart of the Andes.

Day 1: BUENOS AIRES

Arrive to Buenos Aires.
Buenos Aires, cosmopolitan and elegant capital of Argentina, with a population of 12 million inhabitants, it is usually referred to as “the Paris of South America”.

Transfer to the hotel and Buenos Aires’ sightseeing tour
A different and original approach to discover the city’s most beautiful places, bars and avenues, to live its cultural life and to see its rich history come alive. A tour covering the outstanding points of interest: '9 de Julio´ Avenue, Colón Theatre (Opera House), San Telmo neighborhood, birthplace of the city, May Square, historical and political centre, La Boca district, famous for 'Caminito' street, May Avenue, Recoleta district, known for its Cemetery and Palermo, wide and beautiful park located in the heart of one of the most elegant areas in the city.

Day 2: BUENOS AIRES

Day at leisure.

Optional suggested: Full day Gaucho Party tour at the country side or half day Tigre & Paraná delta.

In the evening, Dinner and Tango show
Buenos Aires is the birthplace of Tango, born in the brothels of the city, just before the beginning of the 1880s. Tango is not only a dance but also an obsession. Erotic and passionate, haunting and melancholic, it involves not only the body but also the soul. The Tango has captured the popular imagination for over one hundred years to become no less than an international cult.
A 3 course dinner with selected Argentine wines and an excellent beef while enjoying an impressive musical show in which the main character is the Tango.

Day 3: BUENOS AIRES - BARILOCHE

Transfer out to the airport for the flight to Bariloche.
Arrival, welcome and transfer to the selected hotel.
Bariloche is the hub of the Lakes District, a beautiful area of glacial lakes, ancient forests and extinct snow-capped volcanoes.

In the evening Half day Small Circuit and Campanario Hill tour:
The journey starts in Bariloche and borders the Nahuel HuapíLake. About 10 km. and further on, you come to the base of Campanario hill. There, you ride a chair lift, which take you to the top (1.050 m.a.s.l.). From there you will be able to admire one of the most beautiful and fascinating views in this area. Continuing the journey you will enjoy forest and mountains form an ecological zone unique in South America, as well as amazing views of Moreno and the Nahuel Huapí lakes.

Day 4: BARILOCHE

Optional: Half day tour sailing the Nahuel Huapí Lake to Victoria Island and the Arrayanes National Park.

Day 5: BARILOCHE – ANDEAN CROSSING LAKES – PEULLA

Regular transfer to the port to start the Andean lakes crossing
Mythical tour in the Andean Lake district, one of the most extraordinary and the most picturesque way of traveling from Argentina to Chile through the most beautiful natural route. A route that over 400 years ago, the natives utilized as a trade route and then the Jesuit priests utilized to establish the religious missions in the Nahuel Huapí region. You will marvel at volcanoes, lakes, ancient forests and the warmth of the local people on an unforgettable journey.

Day 6: PEULLA – ANDEAN CROSSING LAKES – PUERTO VARAS

Morning free. In the evening navigation through Todos los Santos Lake and drive along the Llanquihue Lake. Petrohue waterfalls (Does not include entry).
Arriving to Puerto Varas, a charming small town. Transfer to the selected hotel. Overnight

Day 7: PUERTO VARAS

Puerto Montt, on the Bay of Reloncavi is a port on the Pacific Ocean.

Puerto Varas, involves us in an environment where German traditions coexist with the Chilean culture, highlighting the wooden architecture, food and crafts. We will visit the “Sagrado Corazón de Jesús” church and the Costanera avenue. The tour continues through Puerto Montt, a city that has the largest fishing and business activity of the region; exploring the city from the sea side allows to observe a panoramic view of the bay. We will also visit other points of interest like the cathedral and the fish market; this one is a picturesque place where you can observe the daily work of the fishermen and the handicraft market.
Overnight.

Day 8: SANTIAGO

Transfer out to the airport in Puerto Montt to aboard the flight to Santiago.
Half day city tour including San Cristobal Hill.
Overnight.

Day 9: SANTIAGO

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or continue with extensions in Chile.

Buenos Aires: Full day Gaucho Party

Tour at the country side. An opportunity to meet 'gauchos' (cowboys) in their own environment. A ride to the outskirts of the city into the countryside, the 'pampas', cradle of the 'gaucho' and the rich 'gaucho' tradition. Barbecue, wine, popular singing and dancing show, will give visitors an idea about the Gaucho daily life, horse races, etc.

Buenos Aires: Half day Tigre & Paraná delta.

It may be hard to believe that a few minutes away from the chaos of the city, Nature and silence seem to have defeated the piles of concrete and the frenzy of urban life. This visit to Tigre, the gateway to the astonishing Paraná River Delta, will allow us toboard a catamaran boat to discover thousands of islands and islets crisscrossed by rivers and brooks.

Bariloche: Half day tour sailing the Nahuel Huapí Lake to Victoria Island and the Arrayanes National Park.

The tour begins at Puerto Pañuelo, on the shores of the picturesque LlaoLlao peninsula. Catamarans leave from this pier towards Victoria Island. Its beautiful natural scenery encloses beautiful attractions. Later on, tourists get back on board to head the worldwide famous Bosque de Arrayanes (myrtle forest) may be visited. This tree formation with ancient specimens is unique in the world.

Bariloche: Full day tour to San Martin de los Andes.

On this tour you will enjoy the beautiful road that surrounds the Nahuel Huapí Lake on the way to the lovely small town: Villa La Angostura. From there on we will start a highly interesting circuit: "The seven lakes circuit". Through a beautiful forest and rocky hills, you will be surprised by the Correntoso, Espejo, Villarino and Machónico lakes. Finally you will be able to admire the beauty of the Lacar Lake and San Martin de los Andes.
