Day 1: BUENOS AIRES

Arrive to Buenos Aires.
Buenos Aires, cosmopolitan and elegant capital of Argentina, with a population of 12 million inhabitants, it is usually mentioned as the Paris of South America.

Transfer to the hotel and sightseeing tour
A different and original approach to discover the city’s most beautiful places, bars and avenues, to live its cultural life and to see its rich history come alive. A tour covering the outstanding points of interest: '9 de Julio´ Avenue, Colón Theatre (Opera House), San Telmo neighborhood, birthplace of the city, May Square, historical and political centre, La Boca district, famous for 'Caminito' street, May Avenue, Recoleta district, known for its Cemetery and Palermo, wide and beautiful park located in the heart of one of the most elegant areas in the city.

Day 2 BUENOS AIRES

Day at leisure.

Optional suggested: Full day Gaucho Party tour at the country side or half day Tigre & Paraná delta.

In the evening, Dinner and Tango show
Buenos Aires is the birthplace of Tango, born in the brothels of the city, just before the beginning of the 1880s. Tango is not only a dance but also an obsession. Erotic and passionate, haunting and melancholic, it involves not only the body but also the soul. The Tango has captured the popular imagination for over one hundred years to become no less than an international cult.
A 3 course dinner with selected Argentine wines and an excellent beef while enjoying, an impressive musical show where the main character is Tango.

Day 3 IGUAZU

Transfer out to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Iguazú.
At the border conjunctions of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil, Puerto Iguazú is the port of entry to the imposing falls which can be enjoyed from both Argentine and Brazilian sides. Transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon: Half day Brazilian Falls tour
The tropical rain forest provides the ideal setting for the torrents of water crash with a thunderous thud on the rocks below. From the Brazilian side, you will enjoy a different view of the Falls during a walking tour through the passages that connect the different observation points for a panoramic view of the falls framed by a myriad of rainbows.

Day 4 IGUAZÚ

Full day Argentinean Falls tour.
Spectacular views walking in the heart of the jungle. You can appreciate the falls from different circuits, with amazing panoramic views which make the stay an unforgettable experience. This tour visits Iguazú National Park walking along the paths that cross the jungle and lead to the falls. The lower path runs along about 1.200 meters by the river to see the foot of some of the cascades. The upper path allows the view from the top. After this walk and a short ride on the train to the footbridge over Devil's Throat. The feeling of the magnitude and strength of the water falling is overwhelming and unpaired. The wild noise is so high that it can be heard various kilometers away. The mist over the Devil's Throat is such that endless rainbows are formed.

Day 5 IGUAZÚ FALLS - SALTA

Transfer out to the airport to take the flight to Salta.
Salta is main city to visit the District of the Andean Northwest.
Afternoon free to explore their fine colonial buildings from the 18th Century.
Reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Day 6 SALTA

Full day tour along the Humahuaca Canyon, a vast gorge of vividly coloured rock with giant cacti in the higher parts and green oasis villages on the river below, visiting the old Indian villages of Tilcara and Purmamarca.
A chain of little villages in a colorful and charming landscape. Departure from Salta along a mountain road to get the gap of the Humahuaca ravine holds some of pre-Hispanic places, such as the "Pucara" of Tilcara and other remnants of the Hispanic colonization: small villages with chapels rich in Spanish-American art treasures, religious images and paintings so magnificent as those of the archangels with harquebuses.
Overnight.

Day 7 SALTA

Day at leisure.

Optional suggested: Full day to “Valles Calchaquies”
Overnight.

Day 8 SALTA - BUENOS AIRES

Transfer out to the airport for the flight back to Buenos Aires.
Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 BUENOS AIRES

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or continue with extensions.

Optional Tours

Buenos Aires: Full day Gaucho Party

Tour in the country side. Arrive to an “Estancia” (Ranch) for a “Gaucho” (cowboy) experience. Barbecue, wine, popular singing and dancing show, will give visitors an idea about the Gaucho daily life, horse races, etc.


Buenos Aires: Full day to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay.

This is an amazing one-day tour to “Colonia”, a real Spanish and Portuguese colonial style city that has been declared World Heritage site at a standstill in the XVIII century, just at the other side of the Rio de la Plata river, in the República Oriental del Uruguay.
You will sail a very comfortable speed ferry boat along the widest river on Earth and will be able to walk along a small town used in old times to prevent enemies from attacking Buenos Aires. A walking city tour and a typical lunch are included (without beverages).


Buenos Aires: Half day Tigre & Paraná delta.

It may be hard to believe that a few minutes away from the chaos of the city, Nature and silence seem to have defeated the piles of concrete and the frenzy of urban life. This visit to Tigre, the gateway to the astonishing Paraná River Delta, will allow us toboard a catamaran boat to discover thousands of islands and islets crisscrossed by rivers and brooks.


Iguazu Falls: The Great Adventure.

After the walk in the Argentinian paths, we recommend you take the all-terrain trucks to go through the Jungle, following the Yacaratia path to reach Macuco Port Rapids: 5 mile navigation through the lower Iguazú River on speed inflatable boats, crossing 2 miles of rapids. Cascades: Boats get into Devil's Throat Canyon approaching to the water falls to finish the adventure at San Martin Island.


Salta: Full day tour to Cafayate and the “Valles Calchaquies”.

An overland trip along the Valley of Rio Las Conchas up to the "Valles Calchaquies". An ever-surprising panorama of changing landscapes unfolds, with lush greens and red colors curious and fantastic rock formations. Cafayate holds some magnificent pieces of art; tapestry, pottery, wood carvings.


Salta: Half Day city tour.

During FD Perito Moreno Glacier: Tour starts at 9 de Julio Square, following by the sightseeing of some important buildings as the City Hall, the Cathedral, the San Francisco and Vicuña Churches, as most prominent colonial examples. Next, visit to San Bernardo Hill, ascending there by cable car for spectacular city views. Finally we’ll visit San Lorenzo, the upper class weekend neighborhood of wealthy Salteños. Before going back to the hotel, stop at the Handcraft artisan market plenty of local colors, folklore and wonderful souvenirs.
