Day 1: BUENOS AIRES

Arrive to Buenos Aires.
Buenos Aires, cosmopolitan and elegant capital of Argentina, with a population of 12 million inhabitants, it is usually mentioned as the Paris of South America.

Transfer to the hotel and Buenos Aires sightseeing tour.
A different and original approach to discover the city’s most beautiful places, bars and avenues, to live its cultural life and to see its rich history come alive. A tour covering the outstanding points of interest: '9 de Julio´ Avenue, Colón Theatre (Opera House), San Telmo neighborhood, birthplace of the city, May Square, historical and political centre, La Boca district, famous for 'Caminito' street, May Avenue, Recoleta district, known for its Cemetery and Palermo, wide and beautiful park located in the heart of one of the most elegant areas in the city.

Day 2: BUENOS AIRES

Day at leisure.

In the evening, Dinner and Tango show:
Buenos Aires is the birthplace of Tango, born in the brothels of the city, just before the beginning of the 1880s. Tango is not only a dance but also an obsession. Erotic and passionate, haunting and melancholic, it involves not only the body but also the soul. Tango has captured the popular imagination for over one hundred years to become no less than an international cult.
A 3 course dinner with selected Argentine wines and an excellent beef while enjoying, an impressive musical show where the main character is Tango.

Day 3: BUENOS AIRES - USHUAIA

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Ushuaia.
At the very end of the world and at the Southern end of Patagonia lies its last remaining wilderness, the island of Tierra del Fuego. Below the mighty Darwin Range, the city of Ushuaia looks out over the green Beagle Channel.

Day 4: USHUAIA - AUSTRALIS CRUISE

Day 5: AUSTRALIS CRUISE

Cape Horn:
Discovered in 1616 by a Dutch maritime expedition -- and named after the town of Hoorn in West Friesland -- Cape Horn is a high rocky promontory overlooking the turbulent waters of the Drake Passage. For many years it was the only navigation route between the Pacific and Atlantic, and was often referred to as the "End of the Earth." The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005.

Wulaia Bay.
One of the few places in the archipelago where the human history is just as compelling as the natural environment. The bay was described by Charles Darwin and sketched by Captain Fitz Roy in the 1830s during their voyages on the HMS Beagle.

Day 6: AUSTRALIS CRUISE

Day 7: AUSTRALIS CRUISE –PUNTA ARENAS – PUERTO NATALES

Magdalena Island (*), the home of an immense colony of more than 120,000 Magellanic Penguins that we can watch during our walk to a lighthouse, which guides ships on their way through the Strait of Magellan. The island’s penguins migrate in April; as a replacement we visit Marta Island, to observe a sea lion colony. After our visit, we sail to Punta Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 a.m- Punta Arenas

(*) In September and April this excursion is replaced with Marta Island)

Arrive in Punta Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 a.m.
Transfer to the bus station to take the bus to Puerto Natales. Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel. Overnight.

DAY 08: PUERTO NATALES.

Full day Torres del Paine National Park:
The park is surrounded by huge, craggy mountains, including the famous Cuernos del Paine (Paine Horn). You will admire breathtaking views of monumental peaks towering over turquoise lakes and rocky moraines. Inside the Park, you will know the famous Nordenskjöl lookout point with panoramic views of the mountain range and the Paine massif. You’ll feel as if you arrived to another world, surrounded by pristine landscapes. Later on, a walk of 400 meters is necessary to get close to Salto Grande a mighty waterfall. Finally the last part of our trip brings us to Grey Glacier and Grey Lake where you can appreciate a few small icebergs at the back the great Grey glacier. On that tour you will visit the Natural Monument "Mylodon Cave", a huge 200 meters deep cavern where remains of prehistoric animals have been found.
Overnight.

DAY 9: PUERTO NATALES – EL CALAFATE

Transfer to the bus station to take the bus to El Calafate in Argentina.
El Calafate is located in the Patagonian steppe, on the border of Argentino Lake. It is the hub to visit different parts of Los Glaciares National Park.
Reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 10: EL CALAFATE

Full day tour to the World Heritage Site of Perito Moreno Glacier.
The majesty of nature at its best. Seeing it, almost within touching distance, is one of nature’s most incredible experiences. This wonderful scenic area, Perito Moreno Glacier and Argentino Lake, is one of world's most scenic areas, declared “Universal Heritage” by the UNESCO. In front of the glacier, there is a system of balconies and footbridges that allow you to enjoy walks along different paths and to have really amazing views. Sometimes the deep silence is suddenly interrupted by the tremendous noise of huge pieces of ice that crack from the glacier and fall into the lake to float on the Canal de los Témpanos (Icebergs Channel).

Day 11: EL CALAFATE

Day at leisure.

Optional: Full day sailing to thebarrier of ice floes and other glaciers.

Day 12: EL CALAFATE - BUENOS AIRES

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 13: BUENOS AIRES

Buenos Aires: Full day Gaucho Party

Tour in the country side. Arrive to an “Estancia” (Ranch) for a “Gaucho” (cowboy) experience. Barbecue, wine, popular singing and dancing show, will give visitors an idea about the Gaucho daily life, horse races, etc.


Buenos Aires: Full day in Uruguay. Colonia del Sacramento

This is an amazing one-day tour to “Colonia”, a real Spanish and Portuguese colonial style city that has been declared World Heritage site at a standstill in the XVIII century, just at the other side of the Rio de la Plata river, in the República Oriental del Uruguay.
You will sail a very comfortable speed ferry boat along the widest river on Earth and will walking along a small town used in old times to prevent enemies from attacking Buenos Aires. A walking city tour and a typical lunch are included (without beverages).


Buenos Aires: Half day Tigre & Paraná delta.

It may be hard to believe that a few minutes away from the chaos of the city, Nature and silence seem to have defeated the piles of concrete and the frenzy of urban life. This visit to Tigre, the gateway to the astonishing Paraná River Delta, will allow us toboard a catamaran boat to discover thousands of islands and islets crisscrossed by rivers and brooks.


Ushuaia: Half day Tierra del Fuego National Park

The National Park, is a reserved area to protect the Subantartic Forest and its native flora and fauna. From this spot we will be able to take a glimpse of both Redonda and Estorbo Islands. Through a path surrounded by Lenga forests and peats, we will reach Lake Roca, a glacier lake framed by mountains and forests. Finally we reach Lapataia Bay, where we will find traces of the ancient native settlers that used to live in the region. We will have some time to walk through the footbridge, from which we will be able to take photographs and enjoy the feeling of being at the end of the world.


Ushuaia: Sea lions and Cormorant’s Island

Navigation through the mythical Beagle Channel. From the ship, we will be able to enjoy wonderful scenery: the sight of sea lions specimens, the Bird Island, habitat of the Magaellanic Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants, and also a privileged area to spot specimens of the marine fauna. Then we sail towards the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.


Calafate: Full day navigation to the barrier of ice floes and other glaciers.

Sail among icebergs on a clear water lake. Early morning departure to Punta Bandera where the northern and southern arms of the Argentine Lake join.The tour goes through the Spegazzini and the Upsala glaciers, entering the bays that they form and also includes sailing in the cord of icebergs located about 20 km from the Upsala glacier.

Calafate: Full day navigation to Cristina Ranch and the barrier of ice floes.

The excursions that are surrounded by the Andes mountains, Upsala glacier and Argentino Lake leads us to get in touch with a natural, unique, remote environment, with culture and lifestyle of the pioneers and the explorers of past century.Navigation through the Argentino Lake among icebergs and mountains and then visit Estancia Cristina is an interesting combination of nature, adventure, history, and pleasure. This full day program offers alternatives such as those who prefer a quiet day of touring and history as well as those who look forward to activities with adventure like trekking and riding a four wheel drive.


Calafate: Nautical Safari navigation

During FD Perito Moreno Glacier: This navigation, gives you the possibility of watching from a totally different perspective the impressive walls of Perito Moreno Glacier and its constant falling walls of ice over the waters of Lake Rico.


Calafate: Minitrekking at Perito Moreno glacier

A short sailing by the south wall of the glacier, after begins heading towards the glacier where, after reaching the ice, people need to put on iron crampons to walk on this surface.
After that a moderate hike on the glacier (you will walk on an irregular ice surface, but firm and safe) to appreciate cracks, seracs, sinks and small lakes. Finally will be possible to enjoy a short tour in the runways.
